Your Reports Just Got a Whole Lot Smarter

If you’re a Kegtron Pro user, you already know that our Cloud Dashboard reports are where the rubber meets the road. Keg levels are great, alerts are clutch, but reports are where you turn raw data into real decisions. We’ve been busy making the Reports page significantly more powerful and we think you’re going to like what you see.
From Raw Pours to Real Servings
Here’s the thing about flow meter data: it tells you how much liquid moved through a tap. That’s useful, but it’s not the whole story. What you really want to know is: how many servings were poured, and do they match what you’re supposed to be selling?
That’s exactly what our new Smart Serving Size Matching does. You configure your expected serving sizes for each tap: pints, tasters, growler fills, whatever you serve, and Kegtron Pro intelligently matches each measured pour against those standards. This is the foundation that makes everything else possible: once the system knows what a “correct” pour looks like, it can tell you when things don’t add up.

And it’s smarter than a simple volume comparison. The system handles real-world pouring scenarios that would throw off a basic counter:
Top-off detection. We’ve all seen it – a bartender pours a beer, walks it to the end of the bar, comes back and tops it off. That’s one serving, not two. Kegtron Pro recognizes these interrupted pours and merges them together so your serving count stays accurate.

Back-to-back pour recognition. A bartender pulls 32 ounces off a tap without stopping, is that one big pour or two pints in quick succession? The system recognizes consecutive standard servings within a single flow event and counts them correctly. Two pints is two pints, even when poured back to back.

The result is a “Servings by Size” breakdown that reflects reality: processed serving counts, volume totals and size names for each tap. A clear picture of how your beverages are actually moving.
Show Me the Money
Nowhere’s where it gets really interesting. Because the system knows what should have been poured versus what actually was poured, you get Variance Reporting – the cost difference, in real dollars and cents.
You’ll see variance data at every level: per tap, per site, and in grand totals. And yes, you can export all of it to CSV for your spreadsheets, your bookkeeper, or your Monday morning “who’s giving out free beer?” meeting.

You can also configure the serving size tolerance to match how your operation works. We default to 25%, but if your bartenders pour with military precision (or the opposite), you can dial that in. Fewer false positives, more actionable data.

Work the Way You Work
Running a bar or restaurant isn’t a 9-to-5 gig. That’s why we’ve added shift-based reporting. Define your shift start time and optionally set an end time.Running a late-night operation where your shift crosses midnight? Overnight span is fully supported. Your data now aligns with how your business actually runs, not some arbitrary calendar date.

We’ve also made the reports page a lot more pleasant to use day-to-day. Sortable columns in your site-specific totals let you quickly rank taps by volume, cost, or whatever metric matters most. Collapsible site sections with Expand/Collapse All controls keep things manageable, especially if you’re running multiple locations or looking at a lot of data. Serving cost now appears in your keg, site, and grand total summaries.
Oh, and if you’re checking reports while sitting on the can? The whole page is now mobile-friendly.
The Bottom Line
Here at Kegtron our mission has always been about giving you better data to make better decisions. These reporting upgrades aren’t just cosmetic, they’re about putting the financial health of your draft program front and center. Smart serving size matching turns raw flow data into real business intelligence: accurate serving counts, meaningful variance analysis, and clear visibility into where your draft dollars are going.
